Is CONTROL Resonant on Game Pass? Launch Status Explained
CONTROL Resonant is not confirmed for Game Pass at launch. An Xbox UK Instagram leak suggested day-one availability but nothing official has followed since.

Is CONTROL Resonant on Game Pass?
Not confirmed. As of launch, there is no official day-one Game Pass release for CONTROL Resonant — Remedy’s own platform list covers PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Epic Games Store and GeForce NOW, with no subscription service named.
The rumor’s origin is easy to trace: Xbox UK posted — and quickly deleted — an Instagram video that appeared to list CONTROL Resonant as a day-one Game Pass release. Multiple outlets covered the deleted post (Beebom, ChainPlay and others), but neither Microsoft nor Remedy followed up with a confirmation. One deleted social post is not a catalog entry: if you are deciding between Game Pass and a purchase, assume the purchase for now.
How to check whether it ever lands on Game Pass
The ground truth lives in one place: the Xbox Game Pass catalog on your console or the Xbox app. If CONTROL Resonant appears there — day one or later — it is real; everything else, including deleted Instagram posts and forum screenshots, is a leak. This page updates if an official announcement ever lands.
What Xbox players get instead today
The Xbox version is a regular purchase with unusually friendly terms already attached: Smart Delivery covers Series X and Series S in one buy, and Xbox Play Anywhere bundles the Windows PC (Xbox app) version with shared progress. The pre order bonus items attach to the purchase the same as everywhere else. If Game Pass is your only way in, waiting costs you nothing but time — but do not skip the launch on a leak’s promise.
