What was the Complete Set bug?
The Complete Set is a side quest in the Panopticon Intern chain (the same roster as The Party Won’t Stop and Freeze Frame, per PowerPyx’s quest list). The bug hit players at the quest’s end: no interaction prompt appeared for the Subwoofer — the item the objective needs — making the quest impossible to finish and stalling the chain behind it. TPose Gaming’s launch-week guide was written specifically around working through the quest’s buggy state.
The fix: update 1.4.0
Update 1.4.0, out October 1, 2026, fixed it — PushSquare’s patch notes list “an issue with The Complete Set quest where the interaction [prompt was missing]” among the fixes. It’s the same patch that added New Game++ for infinite replays and the Build Power number display, plus the 1.3.3 combat rebalance’s follow-ups. If your game is on 1.4 or later, the bug is simply gone.
If your quest is already stuck
The prompt was missing at the moment your save got stuck, so the fix needs one nudge:
- Update to 1.4.0+ — on PS5 the build reads 01.400.000
- Load a save from before the stuck objective — or restart the quest segment
- Return to the Subwoofer — with the patch applied, the interaction prompt appears and the chain completes
Why the quest is worth finishing
The Panopticon Intern chain feeds the same side-story layer that pads a 20–30 hour story run into a 30–40 hour completion (see how long to beat), and the side roster as a whole feeds the Platinum road. Stuck quests anywhere else in the game? The patch notes page tracks every fix as it ships, and the walkthrough covers the chains that never bugged.
